Flooring

What's under your feet shapes life under your roof.

The right floor changes everything — how a room feels, how it wears, how it holds its value. GBC installs today's most sought-after surfaces, from classic hardwood and natural stone to the latest generation of luxury vinyl and large-format porcelain.

Materials

Flooring families we install

Hardwood

Hardwood

Timeless and investment-grade. Rich hardwood adds warmth, character and resale value — installable over more sub-floor types than ever before, with engineered options for basements and high-humidity spaces.

Porcelain Tile

Porcelain Tile

Large-format porcelain is the gold standard for kitchens and bathrooms. Virtually impervious to moisture, stains and scratches — and available in slabs that mimic marble, concrete or natural stone with striking realism.

Natural Stone

Natural Stone

Strong, organic and one-of-a-kind. Every slab of marble, travertine or slate is unique — bringing a confident, timeless presence that manufactured surfaces simply cannot replicate.

LVP Flooring

LVP Flooring

Luxury Vinyl Plank is the new-generation alternative to hardwood. 100% waterproof, extremely durable underfoot, and engineered to look indistinguishable from real wood — ideal for kitchens, basements and high-traffic areas.

LVT Flooring

LVT Flooring

Luxury Vinyl Tile replicates the look of stone or ceramic at a fraction of the cost and weight. Click-lock installation, commercial-grade wear layers and full waterproofing make it a smart choice for any room.

Good to know

Flooring: common questions

What is the best flooring for a kitchen?

Porcelain or ceramic tile and luxury vinyl are the most kitchen-friendly because they handle water, spills, and heavy traffic well. Engineered hardwood is a warmer option that tolerates kitchens better than solid hardwood. Natural stone is beautiful but needs sealing and is harder underfoot.

Is hardwood or laminate flooring better?

Hardwood offers the most authentic look and can be refinished multiple times, adding long-term value. Laminate costs less, resists scratches and dents well, and is easier to install, but it cannot be refinished and is less moisture-tolerant. The right choice depends on budget, traffic, and moisture.

How long does kitchen flooring last?

Porcelain tile and natural stone can last 50+ years; solid hardwood 30–100 years with refinishing; engineered hardwood 20–30 years; laminate and luxury vinyl typically 15–25 years. Installation quality and moisture control strongly affect lifespan.

Can new flooring be installed over an existing floor?

Sometimes. Laminate and luxury vinyl can often float over a flat, sound existing floor, while tile and hardwood usually need the old material removed and the subfloor prepared. The right approach depends on the existing floor’s condition, height transitions, and the new material.
